Fiddler Cliff Bruner's Texas Wanderers were one of the most important and exciting bands in Texas Swing history, a group that stirred countless others and bridged the gap between the western swing sound of the '30s and the honky-tonk sound of the '40s. Not only did Bruner introduce such enduring classics as It Makes No Difference Now, I'll Keep On Loving You, and Truck Driver's Blues, he also is one of the most revered and influential fiddle players in American music, an unmistakable, inventive and hard-swinging player, captured here at the height of his powers.
