Following in the tradition of THE CBS WORKSHOP of the 1930's and 1940's, THE CBS RADIO WORKSHOP offered the listener an anthology series that was one of the finest series of programs ever aired. It featured stories by major authors, parts played seasoned actors and frequently offered a place to try new things on the radio. Many of the shows are considered classic representations of the very best of Golden Age radio drama.
