When Dan Reid the Lone Ranger's Nephew, reached adulthood he became the owner and publisher of the Daily Sentinel, an Eastern Newspaper. As Dan Reid got older he retired to the West and left the everyday operations of the paper in charge of his Son, Britt, who though he was known throughout the city as a playboy, in reality behind his Playboy image Britt Reid was really the Green Hornet, wanted by both the underworld and the law alike. At first Britt Reid's true identity was known only to Kato his faithful Japanese Valet, later changed to Philipino Valet as the onset of WWII came closer.
